Possibly the most common “Staple” of southern cooking has to be cornbread!
Throughout our years, this recipe has been possibly our most requested one!
Equipment Needed:
Mixing Bowl
Measuring Cups
8″ x 8″ pan or a 12 Muffin Tin with paper liners
Whisk
Ingredients:
- 1 cup All Purpose Flour
- 1 cup Cornmeal
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup Buttermilk
- ½ cup melted butter
- Butter or Canola Spray to grease pan
Instructions:
- Preheat smoker to 350°F
- Mix all ingredients together and whisk until smooth.
- Spoon into pan.
- Place in centre of preheated smoker for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
