Sticky Pork Chop French Toast Breakfast Sandwich

Pork…it’s great anytime, but especially for breakfast!  Rather than the same ol sausages or bacon, mix it up with a thin cut chop breakfast sandwich!

Equipment needed:
Flat Top or medium heat frying pan
Mixing Bowl
Sauce Brush

Flipper

Ingredients:

  • Thin cut boneless pork chop
  • your favourite sliced bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 2 TBSP Maple Fixx
  • 1/2 Tbsp Sticky Fixx
  • Maple Syrup
  • 1 tbsp Butter or Margarine

Instructions:

  1. Beat 2 eggs together in mixing bowl & mix in cinnamon.
  2. Season Pork Chops with Maple Fixx on both sides and place in preheated, lightly greased with butter pan and cook until a temp of at least 145F is reached.  (flip part way).  Set aside
  3. Dip bread slices in egg/cinnamon mixture on both sides and place in greased pan.
  4. Turn after a few minutes when the bread reaches a nice golden brown
  5. Remove bread from pan and pour Sticky Fixx into pan, And return cooked pork chops to saucy pan, mixing around & flipping to glaze the chops.
  6. Assemble the sauced chops between pieces of French Toast and drizzle with maple syrup

Thin Pork Chops may curl up on the outside.  It’s one of the few items I will flip often to try to prevent this.  I will also lay my flipper on top of one while its cooking to act as a press and help keep it flat.
