Cheesy Garlic Mushroom Stuffed Chicken Breast
This easy stuffed chicken breast recipe combines juicy chicken, creamy cheese, and sautéed mushrooms with rich Garlic Butter Grillin’ Oil and SPG+ seasoning. Perfect for weeknight dinners, meal prep, or anyone craving bold, comforting flavour.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup finely chopped mushrooms
- ½ cup softened cream cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 Tbsp Garlic Butter Grillin’ Oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1 tsp SPG+ seasoning
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Prepare the chicken: Using a sharp knife, cut a deep pocket into the side of each chicken breast.
- Make the filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped mushrooms, cream cheese, mozzarella, garlic, thyme, dried parsley, and SPG+. Mix until smooth.
- Stuff the chicken: Spoon the mushroom-cheese mixture into each chicken breast, packing it in firmly.
- Sear the chicken: Heat a cast iron skillet over medium heat and melt the Garlic Butter Grillin’ Oil. Sear the stuffed chicken breasts for 3–4 minutes per side until golden.
- Top with Parmesan: Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over each chicken breast.
- Bake: Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the cheese is melted and bubbling.
- Garnish and serve: Finish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
