Motley Mac 'n Cheese
Motley Mac'N Cheese
This is a crowd pleaser & Sunday Dinner favourite!
What You'll Need:
- 1 (16-ounce) package elbow macaroni
- 1/4 cupMotley Que Garlic Butter Grillin' Oil
- 1/4 cup Motley Que Outlaw Gravy Mix
- 3 cups milk
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, cut into chunks
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 (8-ounce) block extra sharp cheddar cheese, shredded, divided
- 1 (8-ounce) block smoked Gouda cheese, shredded, divided
- 1 (4-ounce) wedge Parmesan cheese, shredded
Ok, so here is how you do it
- 1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain Well
- 2. Meanwhile in a medium saucepan, pour Garlic Butter Grillin' oil, whisk in Outlaw Gravy mix and cook over medium heat for 2 minutes. Whisk in milk and bring to a boil; remove from heat. Stir in cream cheese, salt, pepper until mixture is smooth
- 3. Pre heat Smoker to 225 degrees. Coat a disposable 9-1/2x11x2 inch aluminum roasting pan with cooking spray. If using oven, a 9x13 baking dish will be fine; pre-heat to 300 degrees.
- 4. In a large bowl combine 2 cups cheddar, 2 cups smoked Gouda, parmesan cheese, pasta and Roux.
- 5. Spoon mixture into roasting pan. Cover with aluminum foil and smoke (or bake) 45 minutes. Uncover, sprinkle with remaining cheese, and bake 15-20 more minutes
